Cecil Barden

My name is Cecil Barden, and my wife, Joyce, and I have been married for twenty-eight years. We are blessed with two children, a daughter and a son. Our daughter, Alora, is a 2022 graduate of the University of Georgia—Go Dawgs! She is currently enrolled in the Preclinical Science Graduate Program at Mercer University School of Medicine. Our son, Aren, is a 2022 graduate of Dodge County High School in Eastman, Georgia, and is presently a freshman at Middle Georgia State University in Cochran, Georgia.

I am also a graduate of Dodge County High School and serve as the Pastor and Founder of Faith in Action Baptist Church in Eastman, Georgia. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Mercer University and a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
